The shell is thinner and i had thought about reinforcing them with some extra fiberglass resin and maybe some 10 Ga steel plates... A buddy had them on a Metric and they looked ok but were a bit flimsy... Hey it's $150 VS $400.

If they crack apart with in a year of riding I wouldn't want them.

Hi! Ive gone to the Mutazu warehouse in San Leandro CA...I was looking for hard bags for my Heritage...everything pretty cheaply made...try Calvary Hard Bags on eBay...I think they are out of San Francisco...similar price point, slightly higher quality

I've just sent a mail to Mutazu to ask them if they S&H to Europe, being interested in white HL bags for my 2012 XLC. Just like the classic shape, and of course the pricing...

Reinforcing them internally with fibreglass if found to weak is an option, but you'll have to use epoxy resin, polyester resin could distort the ABS.

I ordered from Cavalry Hard Bags off of ebay. Like I said before, the bags are decent size, they wont give the sportster a big ***! I think they fit pretty nice. I havent mounted them yet though cause Im a little concerned about my tail pipe being a little too close to the mounting bracket. I bought the bagger conversion kit and the bottom bracket has about 1" of clearance between it and the exhaust. The installation instructions say you need a minnimum of 1" of clearance so "technically" I should be good but I dont know if I should chance it or wait till I get my new Vance & Hines Short Shots exhaust....I will probably give in and mount the bags this weekend. Best bet I will have pictures up as soon as the mod is done.
