Default Dunlop E3 the rear tire for me!

I Started out running Metzeler M880 Marathons. I got over 50k out of the front but it ate up 3 backs at an average of around 13k per tire. Being a cheap bastard I figured I try a Dunlop Elite 3 on the rear. I've got almost 17k on it and it looks like it will go over 20k easily. In real aggressive cornering I may be detecting a little drift but with 70k plus on the bike it may be bearings or bushings somewhere and not the tire. It's been a dry summer so not much wet road riding but jacking it up and running the tire shows a nice center groove so i suspect it will do OK. Not looking to start a tire war thread, just an FYI for anybody looking for a high mileage tire.

50k front! My front Dunlop lasted 15k and was completely shot. Maybe because it had poor grip and locked up on me every now and then. But 50k ...

I kept the Metzeler on the front, I usually get about 30k on the front. 50k is a record for me...

50k on the front tire, thats insane. I am guessing you took off that tire after each ride and stored it in a control container that regulates atmosphere pressure, humidity and temperature
