When you do stage one...really look into your options before you buy anything. There are a lot of people that don't do there homework and end up replacing some of the new parts they bought for ones that work better.
Here are my thoughts:
Big sucker is a great value for the money
Short shots are cool, but not the best performing pipes. Still better then stock and sound great.
There are better options then the fuel pak, it only adjust fuel.
Check out TTS, Sertpro, dynovision in that order

Welcome to the forum from San Diego, CA.
You might want to go to the "New Members" section and introduce yourself there as well.
As far as Stage 1 goes, I opted for the X14iED instead of the tuner. I could not afford the tuner and the X14iED did everything I needed to get my bike running great with my Stage 1. If you can afford it the tuner is great and will do a finer job of gaining that last 5% that the X14iED will not give you. But, if you want to save a few hundred bucks do a small search on XiED in this forum and you will find lots and lots of people who just love theirs and found no need for a more expensive tuner. Naturally you find a lot of people that don't believe in the XiED's as well.
