Default Eliminating Ham Can from SE A/C?

Does anyone make a flat oval shaped plate that might seal my SE aircleaner on the outer side of the filter? For a reasonable price?

I've got an original SE for my 1991, and would like to maybe get rid of the chrome cover and expose the K&N filter. More a cosmetic change rather than performance probably. I'm still a fan of the ham can.

I live in SoCal, so rain definitely is not a problem. Most the time.

Check with NRHS, their hurricane flow uses a K&N and I liked the outside plate so much I polished it and left my ham can off, there is a large pic in my gallery.

CHECK FIGUREMACHINING.COM. I think one of their air cleaners if just a "face plate" that goes on the filter and leaves the sides of the filter exposed.
