Default Samson Exhaust

Looking at Samson Shorty's for my Sportster.
Anyone have any experience with these pipes?

No experience with those pipes, but as far as companies go, Samson is one of the better one's I've worked with here on the forum.

I have them on mine, caught a good deal through Dennis Kirk on them last year. I love them myself, only two problems I have had is I run and engine guard and had to make a spacer for the bottom mount of the guard because of how far the pipe sticks out front which was no biggie. Also being the bottom pipe isnt staggered or slash cut I drag it a bit when digging in tight. That doesnt bother me though I dig a bit of drag at times lol. The sounds killer alot deeper than the short shots and just a tad quieter.

They are terrible in the performance department. There 2 into 1 caliber is not terrible in the performance department.

DK doesn't have them anymore, found them at PhatPerfomance at less than Samson's site.

Just sayin after buying a 2-1 for mine I'll never even look at a 2-2 in the future. Performance increase can be insane when built right and not just for looks. But I love the way mine looks too...
