Supposedly a Harley toolkit comprises of a big hammer and a screwdriver. LOL. The wierd thing is that the official workshop manual for my WLA actually states that you straighten bent conrods by hitting them with a hammer, and a twisted rod can be straightened by fitting it in a vice and inserting a big screwdriver through the 'little' end and twisting. (True fact folks). Most experienced HD owners have a toolroll containing tools they've learned they need from experience. I strap mine under the bottom yoke across the forks.
I have an '08 myself, I got it brand new and wasn't a tool kit with it. That would've been kinda of nice but it would also be $ 175.00 up charge for it I'm sure.....lol
cellphone , and credit card is all that is needed.
newer bikes dont have much that you can fix on the side of the road.
good news is , they dont break down like the old ones .
