Default Any Sportsters with no poblems?

How many of you have evo Sportsters with 30,000 miles or more with no Rocker Box leaks or any type of mechanical failures?

To answer your question, in the past I’ve owned a 1990 Sportster (1200) with over 30K miles and no rocker box leaks. No major mechanical problems to report not caused by myself.

Are you looking to buy one?

But you asked about an Evo. HD stopped building those in 2003.

You are correct, but may want to read this. My mistake, I assumed you were looking for a hard mounted Sporty.

At 30,453 miles on the clock, my '09 XL1200C's motor is still tight and leak free. *Saying this will not bring bad juju; Right??

The front wheel bearings had to be replaced at 28,000 miles. The fact they were failing showed up during a tire change. Lucky to catch that before they crapped out on the road.

The crossover pipe and "L" bracket that holds the rear header clamp have broken and been repaired twice. Gave up on that 10,000 miles ago and put on a complete Bassani system; end of problems.

Other than that, just rear brake pads and normal maintenance
