Default Tall rider adjustments?

Greetings all. I have a 2010 883 Iron which is my first Harley and I'm looking for suggestions on how to make it a little more comfy for my 6ft tall body. Handle risers? Maybe a gel pad for seat?

6'2", 14" bars and forwards made mine just right. I will be changing the seat but haven't found one I like yet.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your first HD.

Forward controls.

Correct handlebar position- This LINK shows how to find them. It may be as simple as some handlebar riser extensions, or you may need some different bars.

Take-off touring air shocks will improve comfort more than a seat.

I'm 6'1" and have an 06 883L. 16" apes with 2" risers and forward controls. I hope to get rid of the HD shocks and get a set of Progressive 412 s this winter. I should be good to go.

Forward controls! Makes all the difference on my bike. A good seat helps too.

I tried the mini-apes, but I prefer my arms a little further out than that thanks to my long arms so I stuck with the stock bars.

If you find yourself needing to stretch your legs a bit more, we can extend your forwards. Have been experimenting with adapting mids to forwards but pretty much need the bike to make that modification.

Crash bar and some highway pegs. Stretch those legs out on the open road.
