Can anyone give the steps on how to remove the rear fender on a 2010 HD 48 sportster? I want to take it off and take it to the paint shop. Thanks for any info.

 

Did you ever figure it out? Someone backed into my bike and I need to have it fixed as well.

I'm not all that handy and need some help. What is the trick with the wiring?

 

Pretty self explanitory.
You will have to take weight off the bike and remove the suspension.
Remove the seat and unbolt the fender from the frame.
The wiring all unplugs from under the seat.
