I had the 1200 onversion done and the new cylinders were black. i got some used rocker box covers for $40 on ebay. they are chrome-ish like my stock ones.
do i vht/harley rattle can them wrinlke black or pay for powder coating? what are the advantages and disadvantages.
sorry for all the questions, i'm just trying to wrap up this round of mods.

For about $30...you can do the Harley wrinkle black. $8 for some sandpaper/scour pads, $2 for some denatured alcohol, ~$20 for Harley wrinkle black rattle can. Simple and will match your cylinders. Powdercoating will look different if the heads and cylinders aren't powdercoated with the same material.
VHT will not last long and is very easy to mar.
