Default A true diehard!!

I merged onto the highway this afternoon leaving work. It's about 23 degrees here in NEPA, the roads are absolutely COVERED in salt, 2 feet of snow on the ground, the roads wet and filthy. I look in my mirror and what do I see??A dude riding aHeritage Softail with huge apehanger bars, motoring up the right lane. No special cold weather gear, just some chaps, a leather jacket, a doo-rag and some shades. He pulled up along side me, merged onto I-81South (which was closed for most of this past week due to icy conditions) and rode off into the sunset. I've seen true dedication!! It made me long for the warmer temps. When I got home I went down in the basement and fired her up for a few minutes...I'm counting the minutes until spring arrives!!! It's gonna be in the 40s over the next couple of days and I hope all this snow melts!!!

I wish I had the skin to do that, but I get cold when it's in the 40's on the sporty.

You might be surprised how much cold weather gear he was wearing. Trust me, I know...you can dress with some great cold weather gear, and not appear to be all that bundled up.

Gotta ride. Thankfully, it looks like the cold weather has broken here in Middle TN....woooohoooo!!! I rode today, and only had to put on my chaps and jacket.

I'm outside of Philly and the other night it was in the low 20's and a dude on a yellow sporty was going the oposite way. Made me proud!
