95 Sporty
I have a 1995 Sportster XLH 1200. It has developed a "whirring" noise while riding, but will "drop off" right before stopping. Any ideas?

OK. I couldn't remember which year they switched from chain to belt. Primary would be my next guess too.

Primary is good and adjusted. Sound is coming from around the speedo/tach...possible noise from front wheel bearings traveling up through the forks?

Sometimes the holes in your front rotor passing over the brake pads can cause this type of sound.
