I just bought a 2007 1200n. It has forward controls all ready installed. I am a tall guy and wish the controls were a little farther out there. I have seen online that they sell extended forward controls (2'' and 4''),Does anyone know if i can just buy some parts to extend them out or do i have to buy the whole new kit? The ones on the bike are like new, the bike only has 266 miles on, The guy never rode the bike!!!!!

 

Hmm Im not sure if those kits extend them forward, but they extend them out, as in wider.

Maybe instead look for a new seat that pushes your riding position back a few inches.

Dont know about the dual V&H pipes. Mine are V&H Shot Shots. The key for this mod to fit is the pipes coming behind the pegs. Here are some sketches of the Mod I did.
