Does anyone know where I would look to buy a new wire harness from the main harness to the headlight? I have a feeling I'm going to need one, but I can't seem to figure out where to get one besides maybe the dealer. I can't find one on the usual suspects (Dennis Kirk, JP Cycles, etc.).

I have a 2012 Nightster.

 

If you really want the whole harness, your can order it from HD. But if you just need the H4 connector with the 3 wires coming off it, to splice into your existing harness, you can get them from most auto part stores.

I burned one up in the past using a 100 watt bulb, and was able to get the new connector with leads from Car Quest.

 

Thanks - that's what I was looking for. The H4 connector on mine looks fine, but I can't figure out what else the problem could be. Seems to be a lot of online discussion of the same symptoms mine had that led to the connector, so I'll give it a shot.
