Default Soda straw mod

Saw a few on this and other forums do this so I gave it a try. Makes the spokes look fatter.........I like it Just noticed I really need to paint my fender bracket.

i assume you cut the straw lengthwise and slipped over the spoke. How are you keeping the straw together once on the spoke?

Didnt poke my eye out but my fingers were about worn to a nub They are actually not soda straws but a pretty stiff plastic tube that comes pre-split.
