Default Can Anyone Recommend A Good Detachable Tail Bag?

All,

I love the look and simple lines of my 883 Iron but on the rare occasion that I'm going to venture more than an hour or so from home, I'd like the option of using some sort of tail bag that I can throw some rain gear in or a light jacket.

I really don't want to mont anything to the bike because on the 883, Side bags just don't look that great in my opinion. I Was hoping someone had some advice or experience with a detachable, lightweight tail bag that could be easily mounted to the rear fender and removed easily.

Any thoughts on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Iron!

Do u have a luggage rack or sissy bar? I used a round harley barrel bag on my luggage rack before I found a great deal on a sissy bar. Now I have HD luggage and just use sissy bar when traveling. Hope this helps

I like the T-bags Sportster Model. It has a rounded bottom that conforms to your fender or to the detachable solo rack like on my signature picture. They also send a piece of plastic to cover your fender to protect the paint.

Check it out and let us know what you decide.

Viking cruise roll bag. Built in bungees and holds a weekend worth of stuff or enough room for a grocery run. Can install and uninstall in seconds. In the pic below I did add back-up bungees as it was a long trip.

I use a saddlemen roll bag, on and off in about 10 seconds, but I have a detachable sissy bar and 2-up seat.
