Arrow Feuling HP+ lifters

Anyone have experiance with feuling hp lifters? Hope they work better than the comps that I put in. Nothing wrong with them just trying to get rid of the clicky click.

Most of the fellows I hear using them are on the Shovelhead forums. Hammer likes Jims. http://www.hammerperf.com/xlvalvetrain.shtml#Lifters

Yeah I thought I liked them to till I seen the price over $100 each. Don't know about you but I can't drop a bill for 1 lifter.

Fact is I feel the same...not likely I will build something that requires them. Aaron spins his '07 dyno mule daily to 7500rpm with stock lifters, pushrods and rockers...food for thought. The 1250 I'm about to begin will be a virtual clone of his '07 and I've allotted no special parts in those areas.

Did you know that the lifters used by Harley in the EVO and TC motors (Sporty EVO included) are not a special Harley part?
Harley uses "off the shelf" Chevy LS1 small block lifters. A call to Crane Cams confirms that the only difference between Harley vs Chevy lifters is the packaging and price.

A set of 2 Crane lifters (p/n 10530-2) from Jegs.com times (2) for a qty of 4 is $53.98 + shipping = $63.97 total.

Just ordered a set for my new Hammer motor build.

cHarley, I didn't know that, that's great to know. Thank you.

The PO of my bike had installed Jim's Hydrosolids with the 1200 kit. I tried many, many times to get those adjusted to a reasonably quiet point. I finally got fed up and switched it back to the OEM hydraulics. Performance didn't suffer as far as I could tell, and it got a lot quieter.

It also had N9 cams, I switched them to Hammer 560s this winter, made it quite a bit quieter too.

It's still a bit sewing machine, I don't think it'll ever be totally quiet. The OP may be chasing a noise that simply won't go away.

Yea, I guess I should say that I haven't installed these lifters yet, but a search for lifters lead me to several forums talking about the Chevy small block lifters being the same, and a call to Crane confirms that.

I would have just used the stock xxxxx-99B Harley lifters which were made by Johnson/Eaton, but it seems Harley is now selling a revised part (xxxxx-99C) which is no longer a Johnson/Eaton part and is manufactured in Mexico.

Coming Soon: (after we split the cases to figure out why 4th gear disappeared)
Hammer 1250 w/30* reverse dome
Hammer Smash headwork
Hammer 560 cams

Since I work in the Parts Dept. of a GM Dealer I wonder what the GM part number is?

Whatever it is I'm sure the GM mark-up is 100% as well.

Just look up the p/n for a pre 2010 305 - 350 (LS1) motor.
