Is harley diamondback clutch cable worth?

Is harley diamondback clutch cable worth?
time to replace my rusty clutch cable. Thinking about replacing it with harley diamondback clutch cable this time. Cosmetic is not what I concern. What I care are if diamondback clutch cable pull smoother and last longer than stock? It is worth to spend twice of stock cable price to get this? Thanks for any feedback from riders with diamondback cable experience.

I wouldn't do it. I had one on my 07 Road King. Almost immediately after installing it the plastic outer sheath started cracking at the bend in the cable. About 4000 miles in the outer sheath started unraveling. I had to replace it at 10000 miles. I actually put the stock cable back on and it's still in perfect shape after 15000 more miles in addition to the 10000 it had before I replaced it with the diamondback.
I'm done with the fancy stainless cables. In my opinion the stock ones are far more durable.

I just replaced my stock clutch cable on my 2007 1200 C about a week ago, I was going to do a little show and tell but it was so, no brainer, that I didn't even get the camera out. I installed a 53" Barnett cable and it is smooth as silk. Lever effort is about the same. I have a shop manual so adjusting both ends correctly was a piece of cake. The Barnett seems to be a quality item. About three years ago the bike almost got away from on the big yellow Sears jack and it bent the original where it entered the tranny.

my stock cables were changed when i did the chisled apes - didnt want to keep the stock cables - went with the diamond ones - love the look they do feel a little more flexible , and a little easier to pull - as far as cracking or falling apart i have not had any problems yet,
i use sunblock on my cables so i hope this will protect them for much longer, and keep them from fading --- black cables
