I like the steel braided line, floating rotor with Performance Machine 6 piston caliper (chrome billet aluminum) I saw on JPCycle site but too pricey right now & I haven't had any problems with my front brakes yet. Probably do the change down the line when & if I need a new rotor or have a butt load of extra cash

I put steel braided lines front and rear, rebuilt both calipers and cleaned them really well plus new brake pads made one hell of a difference

I did have a hubcap fly off a car earlier this summer that would have come in contact with that cable if I were on your bike. Scared the ever livin chit out of me. Had no way to react and it hit the primary. Right after that I seen your pic, made me wonder the what if that would have hit your cable. Probably nothing but made me think. Put a nice character mark on my primary and revved my heart up for a minute lol.

Keep the rubber side down bro!

Default sportster brake caliper upgrade

This works awesome, its checp and really easy and you will be very happy with how much easier and better your 48,nighster,iron stops, no mods, brackets or adapters needed, just bolt it on bleed brakes and go!

I recently did this to my 48. A complete bolt on mod. Works great! And looks like it is the same Brembo caliper shown above but with the HD branding.

You might want to look, as mentioned above, to also add the floating rotor (for example: Vivid Black Floating Brake Rotors-44358-00A)

Looks like you guys just highlighted something that I need to add to my mods list... ordering the floating rotor for mine... this never stops!

I would like to do this mod you my 2013 Iron 883. My question is will my existing master cylinder work or will I have to go to a larger one.
