Default Xied & tunner with pipes & air cleaner upgrades Sportster 72 warranty honored?

OK, I already got the SE slip ons because the dealer said anything else would void my warranty & didn't require remap of ECM. This improved bike performance but lowered gas mileage, could also be because break in period is done & I run it like I stole it. Next up is an air cleaner, Arlen Ness stage 2 big sucker or Dk Customs 587? Haven't decided which. (I'll keep the stock ac to put on before I go in for any warranty work). I'm thinking Xied for now because of cost. I see on here some say you have to remap others say no if you use Xied with these types of mods. At end of warranty I'll do tuner, can't afford right now. Can I keep both Xied & tuner installed at same time later? I also plan to change to drag pipes w/ baffels or Vance & Hines 2-1 big radius pipes after warranty ends, depending on $ available. My main question is anyone had problems getting warranty honored with doing these types of mods or do I have to wait?

You can run the XiED's with the SE Slip-ons and an open air cleaner like the 587 or 425.

You will NOT need a download or remap. It will run smoother and cooler, and you will get a nice bump in power.

When you go to a tuner, you can remove the XiED's and sell them, most recoup 50% or more of the original purchase price.

Keeping the stock A/C is a good idea...some dealers would not have a problem on warranty work, others do. Just pull the air cleaner and XiED's and put it back to stock for any warranty visits. (about 40 minutes work max)

+1 to what DK said.

Mufflers and an AC are fine with an XiED on 07 and later EFI models.
