Default demon cycle apes

I have seen a lot of mixed reviews from demon cycle on ebay. I am looking to get a 12-14" mini ape and I really like the roland sands vintage black ops but I do not like the 300 dollar price tag on them. Demon cycle makes some bars that look pretty much exactly like them but for about 100 dollars less. Does anyone have these bars? They have a 98.8% positive feedback rate so that's good.

Also will I need to get a cable kit when I go to put bars on this size?

yes you will need a cable kit with 12-14" apes; brake & clutch especially, throttle most likely. The control wires have a good bit of slack on them already.

Demon Cycle...well, based off the majority of the reviews here..i wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole. Don't let cheap steer your decision, the problem comes down to if you have any issue with their product, they have 0 customer service.

Road6customs is the way to go for apes like that style. I got mine 14" apes knurled and slotted for internal wiring, with a burley cable kit included, for 350$ shipped.

They are very high quality, they also powder coat them so they hold up well.

Never have I heard more bad stuff about a company than I have Demon Cycles. I'd suggest staying away.

Thanks for the info guys! I haven't heard of Road6Customs I will check them out! That's a great deal for the bars and cables CaptainSmooth. How do you like the height on the 14"? I am looking for a more comfortable ride and I love the look of those bars on these bikes!

Captain Smooth, I cant stop watching your avatar! haha!

I work at an indi bike shop. The chief mechanic and owner internally wired a set of them on a bagger once. He nearly lost his mind. Bad angles and really bad welds that hung 'grapes' inside the bars. He says he'll never install another set of them again.

Are you talking about the road 6 bars or the demon cycles bars?
