i have a 2002 1200 sportster that all of a sudden started leaking gas out of the carb / breather area - crazy pa\rt is that its intermittent usually when you first start up - after you drive it awhile it seems to stop. the only thing that has changed was i had to fix the vacuum line to the gas tap on the left side of the tank as the line had developed a hole. Is it possible that its just a float issue? The bike runs great and that is puzzling as i thought there would be a flooding issue if the float was sticking.
