Yes there is. For that particular plug it looks like this:

For other plugs there may be different types of removal tools. Some pins are front release, some back release and others like you have, have a small tab that you use a paperclip for. The REAL tool is made by Molex.

Yes, they do make "pin extractors" for those, but I usually just use an unfolded paper clip. You can see the "barb" on the loose pins that locks the pin in the connector housing. You just need to slid the paper clip end into the connector so it depresses the barb.

Wouldn't say "divine"....

Make sure you bend the retainer back out some prior to inserting back into the plug so it catches the stop and that will keep the contact from backing out.

I must be getting old, I could not see any clip, could not figure out which side to insert the paper clip.. it took me over an hour of searching our home to find ONE paperclip.. but I did find a lot of other things I was missing...
I looked hard, with bright light at both sides of the plug.. could not see what to do.. omg, guess you think I am an idiot... but I tried!
lol

Yes. And it's not a paperclip:

Lisle 14900 Wire Terminal Tool and Trouble Code Tool

There are of course others to choose from [explore the bottom of the amazon link above for more examples/types] depending on the type of connector you're working with but the above I believe will work with any of the common connectors you may find on a Harley Davidson. +- $10.00 and worth every penny.
