Way to go!
ON my car trip from NW Illinois to Atlanta I was watching for bikes. After getting S. of Indianapolis, I started to see a few. Most were baggers and loaded for traveling. On I-65 into Kentucky starting up the mountains after Louisville I saw a Sportster rider with big bungee corded bags on the passenger seat. He(I think) was bundled up in a good winter coat and not motorcycle stuff. The bike had an engine guard with some bright running lights attached. I would have liked giving him a thumbs up but I was two lanes over and he seemed focused on motoring up the steep grade in the right truck lane.
Latter in Tennessee on I-74 headed east was another Sporty with throw over leather saddle bags and a fabric carrying bag on the passenger seat. He was in the far left fast lane booking to his destination. Again no chance to give a thumbs up.
I would have given my left something or other to have been on the bike going with them. But my wife doesn't ride so we were in the cage.
But, it did make the day better to see others doing it especially for the time of year and traveling with a sportster.
So if either is on this forum and recognizes the situation, A big thumbs up. I pronounce you both as "real bikers"
