Default EFI velocity stack adapter/bracket?

i saw for sale somewhere an adapter plate that allowed you to use a velocity stack designed for a carb on EFI equipped models. ive been googling for an hour now and cant find it again. i refuse to pay $300 for a velocity stack "intake kit" when i can buy the adapter and stack for under a hundo combined

anybody?

We are currently testing some bolt on velocity stacks that work in conjunction with the Outlaw Hi-Flow 587 Air Cleaners.

If the tests show a significant increase in performance, we should have them on our website within 8 weeks. Price will be well under $100.

I know you are asking about adapters, not actual VS's. If I knew of an adapter I would point you that direction.

i could then have my choice of velocity stacks, which i could run as is, or cut down to make my own low profile air cleaner using an HKS Suction kit, of which i already have a nice supply of replacement filters(i bought a case of them for my car).

a properly cut down velocity stack(3/4" tall or so) with the HKS intake would then be one of the lowest profile "proper" air cleaners i have seen to date. the built in velocity stack is an added bonus lol.

So you are just looking for the support bracket, the bolt patten for efi/carb is the same. I would see what the guys doing the little inexpensive car air cleaner are running to support the throttle body

Check ebay too, those $300 velocity stacks go just barely over $100. That's where I got mine.

So you're saying I can buy that bracket, bolt it on my EFI sporty, and then and use any velocity stack designed for a carb? Do you mind telling me which carb(s)?

I don't typically need this much help, especially when it comes to eBay, but do you think you could point one out to me?

I know it seems like a lazyass thing to request, I'm just kind of in the dark on what I'm looking for.

One like this RSD but for a XL. I picked up a Novello w/rabbit ears for mine for a little over $100.
