iron 883, plug sticking out from seat?
Is this an auxiliary, diagnosis port or for the battery tender?

It's a black plug, it's capped, looks like what I would plug my battery tender into, can't find any info in manual!

Yep, battery tender plug. I asked my dealer if the moco was putting those on, and he said no the dealer was. It is much easier for them to do it when prepping the vehicle and that way it's there when they need it for maintenance etc.

its the lead to the battery. no worries. Just tuck it into the battery compartment if and when your not using it.
