added reflective rim tape - like the look and just adds to the scoot

and also turned my plate on end -- cleans up the look

Default Finally finished my modifications

It took some time to get the look i was going for , but i have to say i am happy with the end result. Here is one before pic and a few after. I swapped out the tank and front wheel and calipers. Added rear burly slammers. Bobbed the rear fender and relocated the ignition. Swapped the apes out and re-ran the tail light to the side mount plate used a cats eye taillight (which broke and the replacement arrived today) Sold the mustang seat and got an ebay deal for the gunslinger. Fabricated the sissy bar using the old mounts slightly modified. All in all i am happy with the end result. The bike runs great, Baker 6 speed and S&S super E and it starts right up every day and is a match for the NYC streets.

Nice mods! I like the "rough" look.
w/gf must not be thrilled with the seat change
what's that attached to your frame at the front that we see in the last pic?

It is in fact an oil cooler. Good call! G/F likes the rumble, she doesn't mind the seat change all that much and the new bar lets her it back more comfy. I should also mention i am selling the old front wheel with the dual brake set up for $150 if anyone is interested.

My DK package arrived on Friday. Finished Saturday morning.
2" tank lift, wire wrap, coil and ignition relocation, new horn, pro race spark plug wires.

I'd put pics in but can't figure out yet how to do it.

Wednesday night I installed the new 4.5 gallon tank, the fuel level sender and the new speedometer to my 48. I was finally able to get some pics of it today.
