Putting it in neutral and rocking it all the time ...that is what i am doing at the moment .. i can live with it ....until i go on another road trip ....so now i have 2 reasons for a road trip to pick up passenger pegs and now this ...

This should have been a pleasurable experience but the attitude i get from HD dealer is not pleasant ..
Curiosity-did it end up that it is a bad light? Or something else?

My neutral light went out and it was the switch, which is located behind the front drive pulley. The pulley must be removed to change it. Big P.I.T.A.

DK Custom , no we are pretty sure it is the chip ...that is what the mechanic said ...once we get into the electric ...i have no idea ...anyway whilst i was there they were redoing the chip on a fatboy to get it started , and they got that going no problem ....and renetered the data for the chip , so i guess the mechanic does not what he is doing ...

I've got two 2014's in the garage. One Iron 883 and a FortyEight. No electrical issues, but both have had leaks (both brake and oil).

These 2014s arent shaping up too well...

I know you said that the dealer is 700 mi away, but is that the only dealer or is there one closer? It's a Harley warranty, not through the dealer.

Just throwing that out there. If you can save a buck

Default neutral light

same issue here....I learned to rock side by side or lean left and light comes on...I guess it has a adjustment...I will wait till 883 to 1200 conversion.

i don't know why , but it seems to work for me in the garage , but out on the road after a few Kms , it becomes more difficult to find it , by the time i find it at a stop light , it is time to go .
