Default Linby Linbar w/forward controls

I am by no means a tall guy, but I have to admit to sometimes feeling a little cramped on my 2001 1200C... even with its forward controls.

Maybe I'm unfairly comparing the riding position on my sporty with that of my dyna that REALLY stretches me out.

Anyway, I've been thinking of adding one of these to provide another option for foot positioning.

It looks alright... doesn't it?

Anyone have any experience with this product?

Thanks in advance.

Its pretty close to what I have, it is nice to throw your legs up on as the miles pile up.

I moved the factory forward controls 3" farther forward still. I'm 6.2

With me 6'1" ...I find the bars cramp me more than the FC.
I have a XL1200C with the swept back riser, looks like a P.I.T.A. to change this configuration. I tilted the stock bars up as high as possible and that helped some.

I'm rolling 12" mini's that keep my upper body feeling great. I'm fine with the forwards in stock location, although I came from a Ninja so it's a complete 180 difference. I really can't imagine running mids on a sporty.

Default Linbar Fitment on Sporty

Some sites say the linbar is compatable only with 2008 Sportster xl 1200 c with 16" front wheel and no forward control. But others say it should fit all 2008 Sportster XL 1200 C models. Has anyone installed the linbar on their Sportster that has a 21 inch front wheel and forward controls?

I'm about 5'10" with forwards and 7" bars and i feel like I'm stretched out far, arms and legs.
i came from sport bikes as well (zx6r and r6) and was actually thinking about trying out mid controls. i miss being able to grip my bike with my legs and turn it with my hips, not sure if mids will help with that though

have had a coupla diff lindbys on mine-

here is one:

and another one (I like the one above best):

on longer rides, without a +2 on the back, I ride all 3 positions (the lindby, the front pegs and the passenger pegs) to minimize fatigue--
