First of all Hi you Harley Fans

Excuse my english it is not too good.

You as americans are the one who knows better about harleys,,,,thats my believe and that is what i am here.

I live in Spain and in proces of buying my first ever harley, i like the 883LOW and the Street-Bob, sadly i can not afford the BOB now and we are not being offered the nighter until novembre.

I like the 883 LOW looks,,,ando do not like the 883 standar looks.

everybody says to me that the 883 LOW is a Girls bike,,ok

BUT heres tehe thing THE 1200 Nightster is exactly the same size as a 883 LOW and i see a lot of guys loosing their head for that new Bike.

Am i loosing something here.

is the NIGHSTER a girls Bike too.

 

I have an 883 Low. I'm not a girl, and never have been accused of beingone. If you like it, buy it. That's how it worked for me and I've been loving it ever since.

im 5 foot 8 and weight about 175 pounds.

would the low fit me?

Personally I think the Nightster® is a waste of money. You can achieve a better effect with an 883 and several cans of spraypaint (matte for the bodywork, specific engine paint for the cases). The money saved over buying the 1200 could buy you real performance mods from such companies as S&S, Edelbrock, or Zippers that would absolutely spank any factory 1200 and still leave you money in your pocket.

Some ******* will call any Sportster model a girl's bike, half-a-harley, dirtbike, POS, ****** bike, Homo-Davidson, etc etc etc. Grow some thick skin and don't let them get to you.

 

I also have an 883L, not a girl. I'm plenty tall enough for a standard 883, or any other bike for that matter, I just prefer the look of the low.

 

I would like to know how you are going to achieve the same look as the Nightster for the money, on a new bike? There's allot more differences then just some black paint.

As for a girls bike, WTF.

Kavo- I'm 5'6" and 155 pounds. I think you'll be fine on the low. I think you were asking if I had forward controls. I do not, just the standard mid controls. You should sit on one and see how it fits you. Or better yet, test drive one. It fit me perfectly and I absolutely love the bike.

PS -- I am 5'7" with a 31" inseam... truth be told on rides over c. 40miles I do indeed start to feel a bit cramped. But I love the bike overall. For me would be great second bike with a BMW 650 or 1200GS as my other option. (I traded in a BMW R1100S for the Nighty and it's my only bike for now)

 

i am 6'0 and 207pounds and i ride a 1200 low. i just liked the looks. forward controls made a world of difference in comfort now it fits perfect.
