FYI Caution !!!
This procedure should only be used on Lexan shields as a "last resort". It should never be done unless the windshield is in real bad shape or near junk condition.

Lexan comes with a protective coating that reduces and helps prevent scratching. When you polish Lexan like this, you will be removing the protective coating.

 

Here is an, "I use", I set a couple of saw horses about a foot apart and lay a thick towel across them. I lay the windshield on the towel and wash it with the same stuff I wash the bike and my cages. It's worked far nearly 7 years.
