riding through gravel
i live in the south and have to go many places that have looooonnnngggg twisty gravel driveways. in some the gravel can be 4 or 5 inches deep in places. whats the best technique for riding through that **** withough falling over?

I just try to keep as straight as possible and don't give it any quick throttle either stay the same on the throttle or let up a little bit.

I agree with DSUPPA, maintain your speed and try to not use your brakes. One suggestion is to take the MSF course, it goes over many different situations you may encounter and how to deal with them.

Yep, just ride thru it with little or no throttle or brakes. Also it's not considered chicken to put your feet out "just in case".

yeah i took the course and it was great. i cant remember them talking about gravel surprisingly. my retention aint what it used to be though.

My rider coach told us about gravel, but it wasnt in the book or in the amazingly high quality videos we had to watch [:-], lol.
Yea forgot about the front brake thing that would be bad. [:@]
