spark plugs and wires
I've already searched the forum and can't really find a solid answer
It's getting time to change my spark plugs, and i'm having trouble finding which ones to run
I don't mind price but which ones preform the best for a sporty motor?
Which ones are you guys running?
and this is a carbed bike too it that means anything
also are the spark plug wires something you change too?
any opinions and advice? thanks, you guys are great!

I get mine at the dealer...I like the SE wires, the plugs are Champion made, I just get them there for convenience sake plus I know they're right. There are many other ways to go just depends on what you like. I will say that the SE wires don't fit as nice in the holders since they're 8mm but no biggie. Also make sure in case you don't know (like I didn't) that the Sporty coil is marked front and rear. Big twins aren't like this unless it's a dual fire coil. Fortunately I noticed it before I started it.

I think I paid about $32 for the plugs and wires. They are gapped out of the box but you should check them. If you don't have a plug gap tool pick one up at a parts store.
The manual factory manual has detailed instructions on how to check and change the gap if needed. If you don't have a manual that should be your first purchase after the bike.
