New touring Sporty announced!

wow, talk about holding a grudge. this is a 2 month argument in which you are the only one still commenting about road grades in a thread titled "New Touring Sporty".
I clicked on the thread hoping to see a few pictures but HD has since removed that link from their website. Does anyone have any pics?
I'll just google some in the meantime.

I agree I think I would rather be dirty and a little smelly than put bags on my Sportster. Carry one change of clothes and wash them at the motel every other day except shorts and socks take 2 days worth. You can roll that and put it anywhere it will tie on.

Wow, kguittar12, with a whopping 4 posts you can make that observation!
Meanwhile, just click on his name where he makes a post. Then click on all the threads he has responded to. You may find this idiot can't make more than one post at a time without going off on somebody. Be sure and read the responses. I'm not the only one who recognizes him for what he is.
No grudge here by this "old fogey." I just enjoy rubbing his face into his ridiculous posts. He's the best comedy act here on the forums. Nothing more than a troll.

Just glancing at the specs: what's with the rear drum brake, carburetor and 1000cc motor. No thanks guys - may we call this a false start, what genius thought this up... better luck next time.

After looking at one and reviewing all the specs, I traded my 11 XL1200L on the 14 Super Low XL1200T.
The center a gravity is lower on the T than the L and much more so than the C.
It has slightly more rake and three degrees more lock to lock. All of this is to provide a easy maneuvering bike at low speeds when two up. A few more chrome pieces than the C.
The bags can be opened while sitting on the bike like the new Rushmore saddlebags. The pegs are more forward than the L or C. The shocks are the dial adjusting premium type found on the CVO's. The left side handles preload and the right side rebound.
The dealer did swap out the stock reduced reach seat for a Sundowner for me.
I did a couple of 900 mile one day rides on the 11 Low. Very comfortable. I'm 6'3" and 200 lbs.
By the way, ALL HD's from the CVO's to an XR1200 are from the HD parts bins. Where the hell else would they get them from?
A smooth riding great handling bike that can tour the world. What more could one want.
I have all of the HD families of bikes from the Street to a CVO Ultra. My favorite's are the Sportsters. You couldn't pry them from my cold dead hands.
I added a mustache engine guard, K&N breather, Kury pegs, tall sissy bar to hold the tour bag and the Sunddowner seat. All ready for a long tour except the Vigilante tune is not out yet. They have all the touring bikes but are behind on Dyna's, Softails and Sportsters.

I rode a 1200T over the summer at a demo event and hated it. I'm only 5'6"', 155 lbs and I felt totally cramped on the bike. I couldn't wait to get off of it. I bought a '14 1200C in October and absolutely love it. The pegs on the T are absolutely NOT more forward than the C. The pegs on the T are slightly extended mids. The pegs on the C are true forwards and at least for me, were considerably more comfortable than the pegs on the T.
