Default The 88" Sportster is almost finished!

The project is almost complete and I am getting really anxious to get it out on the road to test it out. I am installing a Zipper's Hammer 88 ci Big Torque kit on my 2012 Sportster 48. I have heard nothing but good things from everyone I have spoke to about Zipper's Performance and the kit itself. If anyone here has any experience with Zipper's or more specifically the Hammer 88 kit please feel free to tell me anything you have. I will be posting pictures of the build and the Dyno results asap so let me know what you think!

Yeah I'm expecting a big difference based on what I've heard anyway. I'll be posting pictures of the build and results soon so be on the lookout.

Very nice! What cams, compression and valve sizes did you go with? It'll probably be close to a 100 lbs of tq at mid rpm. What exhaust?

Have trying to keep the wheel down.

I hope so. I went with Redshift 630/585 cams, I believe 10:1 compression. I have the Vance&Hines Big Radius pipes with the Screaming Eagle Heavy Breather air cleaner. With that right now it is at 76.66 HP and 77.64 Torque so im hoping to see a nice increase in both areas. It should be fun trying to keep the wheel down, but even better to know I can pull it up when I want to!

The 88" beast is about 2 weeks away from burning gas! Just waiting on Zipper's to finish with the machine work and get the parts shipped out. Getting close and i'm getting anxious. I will post pictures and Dyno results soon!

Are you having Zippers bore the case? I assume that means pulling the engine and shipping it to them?
Should be a beast.

Yeah they are doing all the case boring and machining of the heads. They have had the parts for almost a month now and are about a week away from shipping them back finally. Its been very hard to watch all the other bikes on the road while mine is just a rolling frame.
