The 1250 kit was nice but this is way better

Unfortunately it's not a good idea to buy a tuner first! There are several brands and it is better to find a tuning shop first and buy what they recommend (read: will touch!).

I put the NRHS 1250 in my 09 883, along with some "auto tuning" with the power vision and it'll break loose in second, and sometimes 3rd. Get chirps going into 4th a lot too.
It's not surprising about the clutch...until I installed the Energy One clutch, all it did was slip the stock clutch when I went anywhere over 20% throttle.
Have fun!

That's a bit surprising on the 11 needing cams to wake it up with the 1250.

the main thing i noticed was that the rpm range is a lot better than before. I was doing 70 in 3rd gear & it wasn't really asking for another one. My father is the one that got it loose in 2nd gear. he wasn't expecting it to get up and go like it did. It also could be the difference in the exhaust that i noticed also.

the dealership is going to be expensive, but i'd ask anyways just to get an idea of how long it would take. My father and i did my work. I had a service manual &used the instructions that came with my kit. i had the pistons already installed in the cylinders which saved a lot of time I'm guessing.

I just did similar job. I only changed pistons and cylinders, no head work or cam changing.
Guess I used around 8-9 hours in total. And I took my time since it was the first time I've done something like that.
And then I changed the clutch. Think I used around 2 1/2 - 3 hours on that.
And same with me, rings were pre-gapped and pistons were pre-installed.
