Default Turn signals: Motogadget M-blaze discs review

Hi Guys,

I got my hands on the Motogadget (www.motogadget.com) M-blaze discs.
Bar end turnsignals.

I had the german company already bookmarked for a long time. I known them for there speedo’s.

For me, finding a good solution to “hide” the front turn signals was a long search, therefore I
want to share this product with you.

I wanted clean, discrete turn signals, so I started looking at bar end turn signals. Most of them were to cheep looking from my opinion, then I stumbled on the M-blaze discs and i gave them a shot:

My experience with the company, the product and the install:

The company:
After contacting them with some questions, I received an answer the next day with a complete and clear answer.
Professional and very kind people that know there product very well !
After a smooth order proces i recuived a confirmation, shortly after this a track and trace number was forwarded to me.
Three days later (I live in Belgium so..) I received the package.

The Product:
The packaging of the products is nicely designed and gives a good protection to the product.

The package includes many different size fitting tools.
There is a clear instruction guide included.

The M-blaze discs looks stunning, simpel and clean design with a very strong and solid costruction.
The wires that go out of the turn signals are very thin ! probable there isn't more needed but I woudend pull on them !

The install:
When using the rubber clamping part suggested as in the instruction manual I wasn't able to slide them in the bars, even when the
nut wasn't compressing the rubber. I started grinding it down, I realised this was going to take to long, so... plan b

I tried with the smaller rubber, no problem at all ! the turn signals are very solid in the bars even with the smaller rubber.

I cut the wires from the oem turn signals to the connector, then I tested them if they work, yes they did.. So then I used solder and 1/3 head shrink to connect the turn signal wires to the old wire+connector.
There was no load balancers needed for my bike (Harley Iron 883 2012 EU version), as suggested already by Motogadget.

the result:

My conclusion:
They look great even with stock grips (Motogadget also has matching grips)
there is more then enough light coming out of them, they are even made in a way they don't blind you.

Pros:
Quality
Overal look
universal fitment

Cons:
Price

Nice write up. I wouldn't mind installing those on my bars where the tubing connects to the clamp. Right now I just have brass plugs. I would have to get risers. I like the product!

They look cool as the bike sits there static but I'd rather have something a little more facing forward to actually be seen out on the road! I guess that makes me a stick in the mud huh[?], heehee. Either way I'm glad you're happy!

=8^)
