mirror extentions

Nice work but it helps to have them adjusted correctly. There is a ball on the back of your mirrors that lets the mirrors be adjusted. Align that ball with the ball on the end of your break and clutch lever. You'll be surprised how much you will be able to see when you align your mirrors the right way.

Nice job on the extensions..
Seeing around the shoulders or upper biceps has always been a problem on every bike I owned prior to the Forty Eight, in the past I have used extensions and/or bar-end mirrors to solve the problem, I never once thought of flipping them below the bars.
After buying the Forty Eight which the mirrors are located stock below the bars it took all of about 10 minutes to get use to them and it made me wonder why I never tried them in that position before because there is virtually zero body obstruction looking through them, they are very easy to adjust not to mentions it gives the top of the bars a clean appearance.
To flip them below your right side mirror becomes your left and left side- right, adjust the steam so that the mirror doesn't hit the tank and then adjust the mirror while sitting on the bike for a clean unobstructed view.
