haha, sounds like you could get a deal on one already, well I'm going to try the harley clip on compact version. it should get here mid next week, I'll let you know what I think of it if you like and post a pic. I never could find a review of sporty windshields on YouTube.... so figured I would go with a full shield rather than a little fly screen which might not help as much as I want for highway or windy day riding which is all I want it for.

After returning the first windshield I ordered, I recently won an auction and received another windshield today that I like more anyways and it was a little cheaper at $212. Very few flaws in the plastic that are barely noticeable so very happy with it. The weather has been crap since I got home so can't test it out but I will update when I can test it out on the highway which is what I got it for. Here's a pic.
I also chopped my homemade sissy bar a little. I like it at this height a little more. Finally have some place to hang my helmet for a few when I take brakes.

That's the 48 seat that a lot of people get. It hurts my butt after about an hour of riding. I'm planning to put a gel insert into it and add a little high density foam on top of that and see how much it improves. For commuting it's plenty comfortable if you don't have to ride for an hour. They sell for about $90 to $100 on ebay.

just done testing the windshield on the highway. At 70mph there is buffeting with my full face helmet but not enough to blur my vision and much less stressing than no windscreen. i think the buffeting might be a fault of my cheap helmet though. Not getting any wind on my chest or shoulders. oh and top of windshield is at about chin or nose height and I'm 5'9" tall.
at slower speeds when its cold out I have to keep my visor open or it fogs easily since it gets no airflow to the lower helmet vents.
clips on super fast and didn't need to move my cables but I went ahead and moved the clutch cable just to make it easier. important as I don't plan to keep it on, I'll be able to throw it on if I'm going to take a trip on the highway or riding at higher speeds on windy days.
one weird effect the windshield gives me is some how the front of the bike feels lower even though I know its not. just a mental thing I think.
very happy with it and recommend it for sure. still have yet to test with my half helmet.
