Default Need some help identifying what happened here

I'm pretty well convinced that the guy before me made some adjustments to the turn signal/license plate to this bike so that the saddle bags will fit. Can anyone help me out here? Every picture I've seen for the 2012's the turn signal is positioned where the bags are...

i pick up the bike from the dealership at the end of the week... if I take off the bags is there a mounting bracket that's going to look really stupid without the bags?

Sbouldnt be too bad. You love having those bags. If you don't like them you will get more than enough out of them if you sell them to redo whatever you'd like. I would give them a chance before rushing into changing anything.

There will be mounting hardware that you'll see. But those bags, mounting brackets, and turn signal/lisp ensue plate relocation are worth several hundred bucks and are not difficult to revert back to stock

It may look weird, only way to find out is do it. If you don't like the bags and signal relocation you could sell them together and get enough money to put the signals back where they belong.

License Plate/Directional Relocation Kit Part # 73279-10:

I'm thinkin' it'll look like *** with the relocation kit installed and the bags off, but I'm not the one riding it.

Looks like the previous owner simply bought a set of #53050-10 bags and the stock turn signal relocation kit in black. You should be very pleased, as they are darned expensive!

I'm thinking you're right. Although it's not terrible looking... I think I could spend the money elsewhere... Once I get looking and get the bags off, I'll let those who want to know if I will sell them. Good lord... The original owner paid $1k geez... Not my cup of tea.
