Sorry to hear about the poor customer care, that sucks. That's a pretty frickin chickenshit response to someone who just spent over $10K for a product. I would call his manager and tell him that his rep can take his oil and filter and shove it up his ***.

Trade it back into them.

I would not tolerate it at all. The only way I would is if they had the circlip that came out. And we are assuming it went down in the case. Ask them where it's at.

Don't stop......make a fuss.

Go above his head ( Harley Rep) and so on till you can be satisfied. ?He is going to mainly go off of service writer and tech's opinions.Are you going back to dealer of purchase? If so I would think they would want to go the extra mile.
