Sorry to hear about the poor customer care, that sucks. That's a pretty frickin chickenshit response to someone who just spent over $10K for a product. I would call his manager and tell him that his rep can take his oil and filter and shove it up his ***.

it started out as a light rattle like a loose heatshield,after a few miles it got worse and i thought it was a rocker or pushrod. my call to the harley rep only got me a oil and filter change after they replace the cly & piston,small token on their part after a major failure on a brand new bike,my faith in the bike and the company is shattered
I would not tolerate it at all. The only way I would is if they had the circlip that came out. And we are assuming it went down in the case. Ask them where it's at.
Don't stop......make a fuss.
