Default Front end wobble 08 Nighster

I just put new handlebars on today and now when I take my hands off the bars it has crazy wobble. Didn't have this issue before. Any ideas?

Check the air pressure in your tires. Tge correct PSI is listed on the front of the bike frame. Start there.

Only if they are stock tires. I run real tires in place of oem trash tires and they need to be run 38-39 psi. If I ran them at the stock tire psi I have the same exact condition the op does.

+1 for tire pressure.

If the only change was bars (not cables etc.) then check the bolts on the bottom where the bars clamps attach to the upper triple clamps. Plus check the bar clamps too.

Perhaps wind catching the new bars...a real guess.

Tires flat spotted over winter? Rear tire/ belt tension alignment? Loose swingarm? Broken motor mount?

Else, what else did you work on while changing the bars and/or noticing this wobble?

Grease your steering head bearings. If that doesn't fix it, then check the fall away...steering head adjustment...might have been just on the edge, and changing the bars could have put it over the edge.
