I got both 19x2.5 40 spoke fronts off eBay. The one on the back was used stock Harley and came dual disks. I swapped the disks to the front wheel which is a new aftermarket wheel. I used Phil Little Racing's conversion kit to put the 19 on the back. Very well made parts and fit perfectly.

Just an FYI, if you go with spokes, plan on changing the brakes as well. The stock brakes won't clear the wheels.

Thanks for the good info. I will be using several Phil Little items. I'm a bit confused with your info. You picked up 2 front wheels on Ebay, but put a third one (new) on there instead?

I guess I misspoke. Just two wheels.

I bought a used OEM 40 wire spoke wheel with two front rotors for $125 in great shape. I then bought a new reproduction OEM 40 wire spoke wheel to match for less than $200 and swapped the rotors to that wheel, put the Phil Little conversion on the used wheel and made it the rear.

I sold all the old stuff at the Long Beach swap meet and made about half my money back.

That's great getting a bunch of doe back from the unused parts.

I may bug you again some as I move forward with the build of this one.

irace1,
What sprocket sizes are you using? Bigger tires, so larger rear sprocket and/or smaller front sprocket?

I just went with the kit from Lowbrow that retains the stock gearing.
