Default Installing 10" carlini design on iron, help with wires!!!

I'm installing carlini design 10" evil apes on my wife's 2012 iron 883. I am going to order magnum shielding black pearl cables. My question is, should I be safe with +4" on everything? Or is that to long, I'm running my wires internally.

Guess I'm just going to go with what is on the 72 for magnum shielding stock lengths and transfer the sizes to the wife's iron.

Im planning to do the 72 stock length as well. I just haven't decided which brand cables to go with. You probably haven't gotten any replies due to the fact that people hate answering questions on bar cables, because that horse has been beaten to death, shot and then hit by a truck.

Yeah I figured that. I have magnum shielding on my street bob and I like them a lot. Great product, can't go wrong with those.

That sounds right. The Seventy Two has 10" bars stock, and has been known to take some 14" without extensions, so you should be good.

For what it's worth, I recently put 11" z bars on my 2014 iron and I used stock wiring. Check to see if there's any slack under the tank. I ended up finding an extra 4-5 inches since the wires were looped and tucked away. May be different from year to year.

I put on 16" burly apes on my 72 and used all stock cables. Wiring was extended and run through the bars.

The magnum shielding wires should be fine with just +2 lengths. I went with the 72 stock lengths and they are a little to long. I might change them in the future, but for now they're fine. I'll post pics when I get a chance.
