Starting a home made 2 into 1..........

I fabbed up a steel one from 2" pipe last night as an interim until I find a piece of scrap brass railing or something similar to use; buying 2" brass tubing is expensive since most places don't want to sell just a 12" piece and a 5 foot piece is about $150. I've got a subtle brass and black think already going with the Throwback Cycle Parts brass risers, DK brass breather bolts, and Ace Hardware air cleaner hardware.
ETA: If I can't find ne there are a few out there I can buy...............for more than half of what it cost me to make the entire exhaust.

Finally found it buried in the leaves, so it's pretty spooged. How long do you want to make the shields? If you want me to clean it up and polish it, I'll need another $50; it'll probably take a couple hours to do it right all the way to jeweler's rouge. I will at least wheel off the worst of it regardless. Also, do you want me to cut it in half lengthwise? Actually, I do all my cutting with a HF angle grinder and cutting discs.
PM me your address.
BTW, as an edit; I was wrong in memory: they're 2" pipes. Cleaned up a section for ya. I'm tempted to do some brasswork on my bike too, since I have the gold piping in the paintjob, a copper oil gauge line, and a couple things started. Hmmmmm...

Brass heat shield
Quadancer was nice enough to send me a piece of old bar railing to make a heat shield. He said it was pretty grimy and he wasn't exaggerating, but I really appreciate his generosity. Last night when I got home from my wife's birthday dinner and movie I dropped the tube in a solution of 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water and let it soak overnight to loosen and eat some of the tarnish and grime. When I got up this morning I spent 4 hours cleaning, scrubbing and polishing. It had a couple of spots that appeared as though a chemical had been spilled on it as some point in its life as a bar rail and they were stubborn. But they didn't defeat me, I adjusted and a Roloc on a die grinder worked like a charm. I liked the brushed look so I decided to hit the entire heat shield.
What I started with
What I ended up with. The spot by the rear bolt is a reflection or something on the camera lens.
A longer shot of it.
So far I just have a few touches of brass. The heat shield, air cleaner hardware, breather bolts and these risers.
