mocking up tank lift and fuel line just pops out
Hi everyone,
This morning I was mocking up a tank lift with spacers to see how it looks and to get the measurements right in order to get my parts.
I look down and the fuel line had just popped out. Through some stroke of luck it didn't leak all over the place (it was on).
I fiddled with it and it just slides in and out of the petcock like it's nothing. When attached there's some upward pressure from the fuel line so it doesn't come out. How is this piece normally secured inside the petcock assembly?
What can I do here? Do I need to replace it?
Pic attached.
Thanks,
-Rob
