Default bike shut off while riding

the bike shut off while riding today but quickly started up on it's own while riding. What could have caused that?

On a unrelated note after today the shut random shut down, I rode on the highway. While riding I topped out at 105 and then the bike slowly stared going down in speed it seems 105 is my max speed. I think I took it to 115 before but speed wobble made me go slow down. But this time I could not get it above 105. What's the deal?

I'd guess you accidentally bumped the kill switch?

no because the I didn't and the bike started back up on it's own almost immediately. It was only for a split second.

You couldn't get past 105 because of speed weeble/wobble?

Well if you couldn't possibly have momentarily bumped the kill switch for a fraction of a second, then maybe you have a serious ignition intermittent?

Start by checking all your electrical connections & grounds to make sure there are no loose connections. Also check to see if there are any DTCs set. If there are, it will give you a direction/area to troubleshoot the issue.

Good luck.

no I could not get passed 110, 115 because of speed wobble this time around I could not get passed 105 not because of wobble but because it just lost steam there and started decelerating on its own.

I accidently hit the kill switch Tuesday morning doing 75 mph. Bike momentarily died, and restarted itself.

You hit the kill switch

What you describe happened on my Dyna before it conked out permanently. It was the stator.

Default usually an electrical issue

Check battery, ignition switch, and relay connections first. Then I suggest going thru the electrical test outlined in the manual. I have had a bad stator, battery, ignition switch and relay do this very thing.
