I know this is a loaded question but figured I'd throw it out there.

I'm contemplating a 2nd bike down the road. I've owned a '97 1200 and I loved that bike, so I know the Sporty 1200 power. But I really love the '07 883R orange paint, duel disc, etc; great looking bike.

What would the cost run to do a nice 1200 upgrade to the 883R? I'm not talking about building a race bike; just a nice quick 1200.

What kits/manufacturers would you recommend for the upgrade? Would you look at Buell parts?

I'm just in the planning/ dreaming stage right now. All opinions are welcome!
