Thanks, chasgrips45. Yes, they are the HD throw overs. They were already on the bike when I bought it.

The quick release windshield was already on there as well.

Very nice bike, Good luck with it and prayers for many safe miles ahead. I agree with you, lose the 21 for a nice chrome spoke 19.

Be Safe JIM

Welcome to the forum from out in the Chicago suburbs!

Nice bike! I like the mag wheel better than the laced rim. The Progressive shocks (they look like 412's) will be a huge improvement to the ride.

900 miles is an awesome find - it has less miles on it than my 2014!

I ride mostly on the backroads out here in McHenry county (just outside the Chicago sprawl), and in southern WI...

Thanks! I got the shocks at half price on the discount table at HD. I stupidly didn't look to see if they were 412s. I'll check them out when the bike is finally ready to be picked up. It's taking so long

I live on the northwest side of Chicago in Portage Park. McHenry and the back roads to get to WI will be my first longer ride out of the city. I know the smaller highways/roads near Kettle Moraine State Park in WI and can't wait to get up there and then stop to hike around my favorite trails.

Do you mean the Kettle Moraine park near Whitewater? (There are Kettle Moraine state parks all over WI.) I like to ride in the Lake Geneva area - nice 2-lanes and scenery!

That would be a nice ride! I'll have to make sure to get up that way one day this summer.

The southern unit, closer to the Pinewood section near Palmyra, WI. It's less busy than Whitewater.

Nice looking Sporty! I had a 09' before I traded it in last year.

Smart move on ditching the bicycle tire upfront for something bigger!

I've never been to the southern unit. Do you just take county H out of Lake Geneva, through Elkhorn, and north from there? It's not far from Whitewater.

I would think that would be a nice ride! You've got a full day covered with that one.

Nice find.

I like the spokes, personally. Old school.

My preference is the spokes. i was thrilled the day i bought a solid FB rim and a spoke for the front. Just dont like the mags but thats OK your ride looks great. safe travels.
