Default 2001 XL1200S daily rider build in progress

As you can tell from my Avatar I'm a bagger guy at first. I was putting too many miles on the bagger so decided to pick something up nimble and that would get better gas mileage. Been riding it for a few weeks and love it. Doing mods to make it more comfortable and useful for the 110 miles I put on it 6 days a week. Here it is when picked up at dealer:

Added 1/4 HD fairing

Added Conely's bags that I picked up from Craigslist, but had to modify bracket to fit due to the shocks and had to turn shocks around

Here's a good shot

Ordered a bunch of stuff, so will be adding more when stuff comes.

I'm not a fan of front fairings, but I gotta' admit, it looks sooooooo much better in pearl than black; in black, it seems to increase it's perceived size by double.

Nice bike!

Thanks. I've never had a fairing bike, but since I ride it about 100-150 miles a day I figured I would try one out. I like it so far.

Tonight added Ness Big Sucker and Avon Contour grips

Whoo-Hoo that thing is coming along nicely!!! I'm super jealous. I've resisted swapping risers on this bike I just finished solely because of the rear set pegs, but my inner tall riser fan just saw your pics and got mad at my inner try something different self. Gonna have to make an order today now. That thing ever goes up for sale or trade...lemme know!!

You still have that other seat that was on it? This Corbin I have on mine is sweet, but it sits me a little too high and I have to tippy toe too much lol.

Thanks. Will do. Yeah I still have the seat. Bought this one to use while I have the other seat re-done if I ever get a day off to take it in.

Did a couple things today. Molded windshield to fairing and added a Kuryakyn Panacea deluxe tail light.
